DocQ 2.0: A Complete Interface Redesign, PowerPoint Support, and Enhanced Auditing

DocQ 2.0 Is Here

After months of development, DocQ 2.0 represents the most significant platform release to date. Every corner of the interface has been redesigned for clarity and speed, and several capabilities have been added that expand what's possible with no-code document automation.

Here's what's new.

All-New Interface

The entire DocQ interface has been rebuilt from the ground up. The goal was a cleaner, more intuitive experience that reduces clicks, surfaces information faster, and scales better on both desktop and mobile screens.

Every existing feature is preserved — nothing was removed. But the way features are organized, accessed, and displayed has been rethought based on real-world usage patterns. Navigation is faster, workflows are easier to build, and documents are easier to manage.

The redesigned UI rolled out progressively, starting with select instances before expanding to the full platform.

Expanded Auditing and Analytics

Understanding how recipients interact with documents is critical for compliance and follow-up. DocQ 2.0 expands the audit trail with granular engagement data:

  • Document access tracking — see exactly which documents were opened and by whom
  • Page-level analytics — measure how long a recipient spent reviewing each page of a document
  • Close event recording — know when a document was closed, helping distinguish between brief glances and careful review
  • Centralized analytics view — all engagement data accessible through the "Analytics" option within individual documents

This level of visibility transforms how teams manage sensitive documents. When you can see that a contract was opened once for 30 seconds and then closed, you know to follow up. When you see that every page was reviewed for several minutes, you know the recipient engaged seriously.

PowerPoint (PPTX) Support

DocQ now supports PowerPoint files natively. Presentations can be:

  • Uploaded and converted to PDF for viewing and signing
  • Integrated into document workflows alongside other file types
  • Signed electronically without requiring download-edit-reupload cycles

For teams that use presentations in sales proposals, board materials, or training content, this eliminates a gap that previously required manual handling outside the platform.

Workflow File Renaming

A new workflow step allows documents to be renamed automatically as they move through a process. This extends beyond simple naming to include:

  • Tagging — applying metadata tags for categorization and search
  • Group assignment — organizing documents into logical groups during processing
  • Conversion settings — controlling how documents are converted between formats

File renaming during workflow execution means documents arrive at their destination with consistent, meaningful names rather than whatever the original sender chose.

Variable Visibility Control

Template variables can now be hidden from end users while remaining fully functional for workflow logic. This matters when conditional routing depends on a variable value that the document recipient shouldn't see — internal classification codes, routing flags, or priority indicators.

The variable still drives the workflow behavior. The recipient simply doesn't see it in the document, keeping the experience clean and focused.

Integrated Help and Support

DocQ 2.0 includes a built-in support portal where users can:

  • Submit support tickets directly from within the platform
  • Access the platform's documentation wiki
  • Find answers without switching to a separate browser tab or email client

Keeping support within the platform reduces friction for users and helps the team resolve issues faster.

Looking Ahead

DocQ 2.0 establishes the foundation for the next generation of the platform. The redesigned interface, expanded auditing, and new workflow capabilities all set the stage for what comes next — deeper automation, smarter document processing, and more powerful no-code tools for teams who want to eliminate manual work without writing a line of code.
