What’s New with DocQ: November 2021 version
Ah November. Summer is long gone, it feels like fall 🍂 has just begun and already winter 🥶 vibes are starting to trickle in. Feels a bit early, kind of like party guests that arrive before start time and just sit and wait and watch you finish up all those last minute things. Hang on winter, give us a bit more time to enjoy our pumpkin spice lattes.
As always, here at DocQ, we are staying busy. This release brings gobs of ‘minor’ items that all together make the brand new version worthwhile – say hello to DocQ 1.5!
Step Name Display
This is just one of those little items which makes DocQ a smidge more user friendly 💪 than it was yesterday. Now when viewing a list of documents, instead of seeing the step type (Form Attachment, Role, Plugin, Split, etc.) of the current step, you are now able to see the name of the step.
In the example below, the step type is ‘User’ but now reads with the more friendly descriptive ‘Employee Signature’ text that we named the step.
Since users have full control over step names this addition just makes sense.
More RTF tags supported for DOCX
We’ve added more support for RTF (Rich Text Format) which makes form submission a breeze 😎. Since we are talking about breezes, the creation of a form is also a breeze with DocQ. If you haven’t already taken advantage of this functionality, check out the overview here.
There were some other adjustments included in this release as well. However, in full transparency, we’ve mostly been heads down working on some major future enhancements for you. No details to share yet.
These kinds of enhancements take more than a few days or few weeks to get through but rest assured they are coming. Soon…ish is the best we can do at the moment but stay tuned. Queue Danger Zone 🎶 on repeat for the rest of the day. You are welcome! 🙌
